Schools are back in session, we look forward to a little cooler days and evenings. A time we start preparing our gardens for winter and dust off our sewing machines for holiday and gift sewing.
We have many classes on the schedule featuring new quilts, bags, and garments. We hope you will give one or some a try. You will also see a return of some of the favorite classes that often fill quickly as well as sewing studio on the second and fourth Tuesday afternoons.
We have several special programs also scheduled in this quarter. Kimberbell Tis the Season To Sparkle, November 15 or 16. There are three different programs with an Accuquilt Educator that are September 27 and 28, which include two brand new programs. On November 8, we will have a Husqvarna Viking educator here to do a two fold workshop. She will share how the beautiful Epic 2 can help you with your wildest sewing dreams, and show some of the newest notions and how to use them. Lastly Lindsey Marsh of Sew to Grow will be here November 1 and 2, and a second class was added November 4 and 5. There will be a Friday evening 7-9pm show of her patterns where she will also share many tips and techniques of garment sewing. So even if you did not make it in her class, do sign up for that, These classes will not be held at the shop so please make sure we have your number and e mail when you register, so we can send you location information
This is our last newsletter until 2020, so we wish you fun and time for all your holiday and gift sewing (Don’t miss our Holiday Learn a Bunch at Lunch, November 20). We also hope all your upcoming holidays are full of joy, family and friends.
