Intro to Jelly Roll Placemats & Rugs
This is a great introduction to getting the essential skills for learning how to create a jelly roll rugs, placemats, and any other projects requiring fabric tubes.
All required materials for class can be found at Fran's Sewing Circle prior to start date. You can purchase (with class discount) a pre-packaged jellyroll bundle or yardage off the bolt. Pre-cut fabric into strips at 2.5". Because this class is an intro we will be working with 7-12 strips making a mini rug, which can also be a placemat or used under pet's food & water dishes. The uses are endless for these fun projects.
Materials required for class:
- Clover Fabric Tube Maker
- 2.25" batting strips
- 2.5" fabric strips
- Matching thread
Optional but Highly Recommended:
- Extention table
- Walking Foot
