Basic Sewing 101 Beginning Sewing

This 6 week class begins with sewing machine fundamentals. After getting to know your machine and making a quick starter project, you will construct a pair of pajama pants using a basic pattern. You will learn to read a sewing pattern, select fabric, and other basic sewing and finishing techniques that build the foundation needed to create any sewing project. Time will allow for additional projects that you can choose on your own.

Project supplies will be discussed in the first class and are not included in the course fee. You will receive a 15% discount on any supplies for the class purchased in the store.

You are welcome to bring your own sewing machine in working condition with a zipper foot, or use one of our Brother classroom machines.

*The only thing you need to bring to the first class is a sewing machine, thread, and basic supplies like scissors, pins, etc.
