Sewing Fundamentals
Bring that sewing machine you haven’t taken out of the box that’s collecting dust to our crash course! You will create a simple zippered pouch and tote bag- made while building skills! This course is a three week session and covers the basics of sewing. You will thread your machine, wind a bobbin, and learn basic sewing techniques.
You are welcome to bring your own sewing machine in working condition with a zipper foot, or use one of our Singer classroom machines. Please call the store at (910) 397-9399 or email us at franssewingcircle@gmail.com if you would like to reserve a classroom machine.
*The only thing you need to bring to this class is a sewing machine, thread, bobbins, and a zipper foot if you have one.
*This is a high demand class and we do our best to accommodate this with our scheduling limitations. If no spots are available, adding yourself to the waitlist is the best way to be added to our queue. We will notify those on the waitlist on a first come, first serve basis if there is a cancellation. Otherwise, waitlisted students will receive priority when new classes become available. (Class schedules are released tri-annually: Jan-April, May-Aug, Sep-Dec)
*This class is open to anyone 16 and older. Exceptions, like those who have aged out of our Kid's Sew classes, require teacher approval.
