Basic Sewing 201 Intermediate Sewing
For students who have completed Basic Sewing 101 or have experience using basic sewing patterns. This class is geared towards reading and following sewing patterns to create your projects. Expand your sewing skills and try a technique you are afraid to tackle on your own. With more than 45 years sewing experience, Fran can help you tackle the tough patterns and turn you into a confident sewer!
You are welcome to bring your own sewing machine in working condition, or use one of our Brother classroom machines. Please call the store at (910) 397-9399 or email us at franssewingcircle@gmail.com if you would like to reserve a classroom machine.
You will need to bring a sewing pattern along with supplies (fabric, notions, etc) to your first class. You are welcome to come to the store in advance if you would like assistance in choosing a project.
*This is a high demand class and we do our best to accommodate this with our scheduling limitations. If no spots are available, adding yourself to the waitlist is the best way to be added to our queue. We will notify those on the waitlist on a first come, first serve basis if there is a cancellation. Otherwise, waitlisted students will receive priority when new classes become available. (Class schedules are released tri-annually: Jan-April, May-Aug, Sep-Dec)
*This class is open to anyone 16 and older. Exceptions, like those who have aged out of our Kid's Sew classes, require teacher approval.
Doors open at 5:50 pm for night classes
