Young Adults & Teens

Young adults are welcome to take any of our classes. Anyone over the age of 14 can take classes at their skill level. For very beginners, we recommend classes that state they are for beginners. Once you have the basic skills, we encourage you to try any project that interests you.

“SEWN” – GO ANYWHERE DRESS

This flattering sheath dress is easy to make with half princess lines. Wednesday, February 29, 10 am – 4 pm  $45 plus pattern and material.  Pattern needs to be sized and cut before class. (Barbara Whitfield)

KWIK SEW CARDIGAN

Kwik sew knit patterns are easy to use and Jean will share ideas to make your project uniquely you.  The perfect coverup for when there is just a little chill.  Monday, February 6, 1-4 pm. Pattern and material required $25 plus pattern and supplies.  (Jean Werling)

VALORIE WELLS KNIT (or woven) SKIRT

One tiny pattern is all you need to make a skirt for a girl or adult.  Techniques for making a knit skirt are used can also be made of woven fabric  No serger required.  Wednesday, March 14, 1- 4 pm  $25, plus pattern and materials. (Barbara Whitfield)

BOY’S EASY ‘LINEN’ SHIRT

Bermuda Bag - Great project for beginners or intermediate sewers. Easy to sew using jelly roll fabric strips and an easy to sew zipper.
